Administrative and Customer Relations Assistant – May 2021

Montage Theatre Arts (MTA) are looking to recruit a new member of the team!

We are a small performing arts charity based in South East London, working with children age 3 – 18 to introduce them to the transformative power of the performing arts. Through creative activities our students learn various life skills including confidence, critical thinking, public speaking, and social skills. We also work with several children from various, and less affluent backgrounds, ensuring all children in our community have access to the performing arts and creative expression.
Established in 1998 and becoming a registered charity in 2002, MTA has a respected track record within our local communities.

As our Administrative and Customer Relations Assistant you will understand the need to safeguard children and ensure all our child protection policies are followed. We will provide safeguarding training.

You will also need to follow our Health and Safety procedures, and if the need arises act as both a Fire Marshal and a First Aider. We will also provide registered training in all these aspects.

You will split your time both working directly with our customers and in our office (or home-working dependant on government guidance). You will be line managed by our Youth Programme Manager and receive further employability training through Coyne Recruitment.

The role will include working directly with children and building skills in child development, socialisation, and facilitation, working with customers building relationships and providing exceptional customer service and helping shape our Youth Programme under direction of the Youth Programme Manager. It will also include various administrative tasks such as preparing email communications with stakeholders, navigating, editing, and producing reports from our CRM software, using various computer programmes to create documents, site communications and reports. You will also act as a liaison between the office and courses/classes.
