The Dinner Party, July ‘10

Created and performed by 17 women, aged 64 – 86 years, devised by Artistic Director, Judy Gordon. Funded by the Arts Council as part of Big Dance 10.  The women arrive at their annual dinner party. As they wait for service, the wine flows freely and truths are revealed in an inspiring, joyous dance theatre piece, by a unique set of women. Based on the performers’ own lives, the women dance, speak and sing this moving story through tap, tango and a dance with cutlery and crockery.
