Dancing stAge at the Southbank
The performance took place at the Clore Ballroom, Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre on Friday 9 July at 3pm.
South-East London Dance Leader, Judy Gordon, dances with 150 older people in a pan-London event and working with the group from Elder People’s Support Project to create a moving, funny and inspiring piece of dance.
Dancing stAGE was a dance project for older Londoners that will culminate in an unforgettable performance at the Southbank Centre on Friday 9 July 2010. It will be a major event as part of Big Dance and the Capital Age Festival and is produced by East London Dance. Under the direction of Choreographer, Natasha Gilmore, and Project Director, Cheryl McChesney, a team of artists will work with over 150 older people to create a spectacular performance piece.
