Teaching, Office Staff and Managers

The MTA team is led by the Artistic Director and includes freelance tutors, courses managers and administrative workers based in the office and at the school, and volunteer classroom assistants.

Our teachers are all West-End and industry professionals and always bring an exciting set of skills to MTA within their busy careers.  While teaching is a priority for each of them, sometimes they are called away to take up a professional opportunity in the arts – and sometimes at short notice!

All Montage staff and volunteers are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau at Enhanced Disclosure level and training in child protection is regularly updated.  There is always a First Aider on-site.

Cover Teachers:
While it is a main aim for MTA to bring consistent teaching to our students and pride on tutors being with us for a number of years (Leigh Coleman has been with us for 8 years!!), as in any educational environment, we sometimes have to call upon our pool of highly experienced cover teachers.

They have usually worked with MTA over a number of years and know our practice (and often the students) well.  We welcome these tutors who can bring specialist and one-off experiences. Recently we have had guest cover teachers who have played lead roles in The Lion King and The Snowman. We relish this chance to share these skills with students,
